This is a hand-dyed and hand-stamped batik bandana, handmade by artisans in Java using a centuries-old wax-and-dye batik technique.

This bandana is made from lightweight white cotton fabric that is hand-stamped and hand-dyed using the 700-year-old batik wax and dye technique, then sun-baked. Expect some natural variation in color.

Due to the pre-washing process and the use of hot wax in its creation, this bandana may have slight variations in shape, resulting in a non-perfect square — a natural part of the traditional batik process and part of each piece's uniqueness.

Care: Machine washable in cold water, air dry. Wash batik separately from other garments.

Wear it as a bandana around your neck, as a head and hair cover wrap, or as a face mask — also great for your dog.

Each piece is hand-stamped, sun-baked, and pre-washed in Java.
