I mastered this art during my six-year apprenticeship with a reputed craftsman in Delhi. I remember this period of my life as an amazing experience, though time came to venture out. I set up my own workshop, and eventually was able to offer employment to a few more craftsmen. We are always on the lookout to create something new, and we all work with great dedication.
For me, quality and a unique style is most important. I can spend many hours working, and will not move until and unless I have the perfect piece in my hand.
We have exhibited in many embassies for the last five years and so far its been a wonderful experience. In the future, I plan to set up an institution where we can teach our art and craftsmanship to young and interested aspirants.
Novica's concept is great. The idea of bringing together small and big crafts from around the world into one platform is great. I am overwhelmed to be a part of Novica.
