Looking for a lovely keepsake or great gift? What better than offering a wish. These real dandelion necklaces fit the bill. Wonderful memories of blowing dandelion fluff and making a wishes when we were little. As with my real flower jewelry, I encase real dandelion fluff (seeds) between two oval glass cabochons creating a terrarium of sorts. With this pendant you can take a piece of nature with you wherever you go.

Where they began: Since 2012 I’ve been making wish necklaces with glass cabochons and dried dandelion seeds. At first I wasn’t sure how folks would take to them. They aren’t bold or flashy. Just tiny little seeds with a little fluff on top.

But that’s the beauty of them, what I found is that people love them for the memories they hold. Kids in the yard, blowing on dandelions and making wishes. A little reminder of how something so small can carry a bit of magic.

For others, these necklaces have become more than playful keepsakes. They mark times of change, moments of hope, or the memory of someone dear. That tiny seed sealed in glass is both fragile and strong, just like the stories behind it.

What started as an experiment turned into one of my most loved lines. Proof that even the smallest things can mean the most.

From inception to completion, each piece of jewelry is handmade by me with care in my home studio in Louisiana, USA.

ABOUT MY PROCESS: My medium is the Tiffany-style stained glass technique, combining glass, gemstones, and other materials using the copper foil method. My metalwork features a blend of tin, silver, copper, and brass, all safe for sensitive skin. Instead of torch soldering, I use a soldering iron, which gives me more flexibility to create a diverse variety of organic designs.
