"I think I also inherited my interest in jewelry from my mother. I remember her as constantly collecting gemstones and jewelry. She gave me quite a few pieces from her collection when I got married, which I still have with me.
"However, for a while it seemed that this interest in jewelry had skipped me, and had been directly passed on to my daughter. She shares her passion for jewelry with her grandmother. She is such a talented and creative designer, that she cannot separate herself from the color of jewels. Every time she designs or discovers something new, she gets very excited. My daughter is Neeru Goel, a featured artist.
"My daughter's passion for jewelry is so infectious, that I began to get closer to this art form. I could see myself slowly getting more and more involved with this creative work.
"I began by using my free time to string gemstones into jewelry, and I loved the results. I showed my daughter my creations and she was overjoyed. In a way, I would say that my daughter inspires me. I am very particular about my necklaces. The stones of which they're made hold meaning for me. I was looking for a strong garnet necklace and wanted one that would lay just at the base of my throat. Well, the inner strand of this necklace lays exactly where I wanted while the outer one lays a bit lower, making quite a statement! The silver bead accents wake the whole piece up and keep it from being overly formal. I could easily wear this for an evening out, but I can also wear it with more casual attire. Narayannii has given us yet another beautiful, thoughtfully crafted piece to enjoy!

These are very delicate looking and pretty. The color is beautiful. I wish I could wear them and might find a way to alter things. My problem is the bezel goes down to a narrow post-rest and that presses down into my piercing hole and hurts after an hour of wearing. So I need something wider between bezel and post. Might be able to figure something out. Otherwise they are very pretty.

My only issue with any of Narayani's gorgeous designs is the toggle clasps. I like toggles, but do worry about them coming apart accidentally. I am very attached to this necklace, and to ensure it stays on I've added a fairly heavy pendant. The labradorite beads are beautiful and garnets are my birthstone, the combination is perfectly arranged. Love it.

When it was arrived, I was surprised by the size of the round stones to the top...they seem, in my humble opinion, just a bit oversized for the top part of the earring. Either way, I'm glad I got them as the color is so interesting and will match some of my fall outfits.
