About this item

Beautiful flowers round drop earrings from the finest vintage china estimated to be over 60 years old- upcycled jewelry from broken dishes, unique jewelry, gift for women, statement making earrings. I cut plates or cups by hand then grind them to make different shapes that will be turned into earrings. The design is carefully selected to match the two earrings, but slight differences such as colors, shapes, design can be present. That will add more charm and interest to the eyes looking at them. Most of the china cuts come from vintage or antique orphan or chipped china that is no longer usable. I use hypolaergenic trays for sensitive ears, the earrings are made from stainless steel and they are silver in color. Discrete, though statement making accessories for winter outfits. Made with love.

Please see images at full resolution and ask any questions. These is handmade jewelry, slight imperfection such as design, size, colors can be present.

Art House Mosaic and Jewelry

Thank you for visiting my shop today! Please take a moment to enjoy the variety of colors with light reflecting in every shard of stained glass in my unique mosaic pieces. Or shop one of a kind jewelry pieces made from broken vintage china. I am an experienced mosaic artist. I love creating fine, painterly mosaic. My palette of work is vast and my imagination wide, allowing me to switch easily from realism to abstract, from small to big, from beads to rocks. My art is original and unique, it involves hours and hours of work and hundreds or thousands of little pieces of glass cut by hand and placed together to tell a story. Discovering beautiful well-loved china for my mosaics gave me the idea to give it a beautiful new life and turn it into wearable art-jewelry. I use mostly vintage or antique china that is chipped, broken or orphan. When I make a pendant, a barrette or any other small thing you can use or wear, I like to think I am not just making an accessory, but also a piece of art!
