There is no mistake the mask is handmade. But, it also looks like it was created by an artist who knew what he was doing..I have a total of 3 masks from the Artist

The colours, the beadwork, the paint and the aluminium top have really made this mask one of my favourites. I keep admiring the work done on this piece every time i look at it. It's going to be a good conversation piece and will catch the eye of all who visit our home. Well done!!

My niece is a theater professor at a University. She collects masks and when I saw this I knew I had to get it for her. She received it in time for her birthday and was so excited. It was everything I hoped it would be. She really enjoyed the hand written note from the maker and the lovely wrapping as well.

I have collected several African masks for over twenty years and although this mask is small, it is now one of my favorite. The artistry of Saeed Musah is absolutely phenomenal. The “Bantu Zulu mask is identical to the photo with all of the intricate details. It is evident that Saeed Musah is a master artisan and mask designer who is passionate about his craft. Saeed is obviously dedicated to produce a product that the purchaser will adore. I am extremely happy about my purchase and highly recommend Saeed’s “Zulu mask.

"I was born in Accra. My friends describe me as a hardworking, honest and creative person. I craft African masks and wood carvings.
Â
"During my school days, I sold paper bags to pay for my education because there was no money and I didnt want to drop out. I sold them throughout my years in school, which was a very difficult period. Im happy I was able to overcome it.

"One funny moment was when I fell in love with a beautiful girl and I was afraid to tell her. One day, I sent a friend of mine to call her for me so I could tell her my feelings. When she came over to talk to me, I lost my nerve and told her my mother was calling her.
Â
"Ive enjoyed art since I was a child. I was very good at drawing and painting. After junior high school, I learned how to design and paint beads. Once I had learned, I then taught many others.
Â
"Starting out on my own as an artisan was very hard because I didnt have any financial support. I carved the designs that came to mind and I realized people appreciated them. This encouraged me to keep going despite the challenges I was facing.
Â
"I enjoy the uniqueness of my designs and how I translate an image onto a piece of wood. The most challenging aspect of my work is marketing my creations.
Â
"Im inspired by the master artisan who taught me this work. I use brass, aluminum, wood and recycled glass beads in my designs. The wood quality and its finish are the characteristics I seek.
Â
"Ive been able to train six people so far. My hope is to work hard and expand my workshop to train more people in my community."
