We are approaching a critical time in our history on this planet. Every year we see the increasing effects and impact from our previous lack of understanding of the environment. However, I feel optimistic that we can step back from the brink through awareness, acknowledgment, and action.

Tipping Point reflects some of that optimism. The sky is a hopeful reminder that we previously tackled air pollution and the ozone layer damage and made great strides in repairing that. At the ground level, the encroaching landfill is offset by verdant areas reminiscent of hills and farmland. As the name implies, we are close to finding out which of these will ultimately win out.
