"When we learned that the hill tribe people of northern Thailand had wonderful silversmith skills, but that most of their jewelry wasn't considered very marketable, we decided we wanted to find a way to help them. We wanted to help in a way whereby they could earn a decent living and lead a stable lifestyle, as well as promote their culture worldwide. That's how we came to create a form of collaboration with them, whereby we could help them develop more handcrafting skills, improve their designs so they would be more appealing to the general public, and improve the quality of their work, which meant refining their centuries-old traditional methods.

Looks lovely on the wrist. There is one sharp area, however, on elephant that sticks out. Not worth spending money to ship back. Wish these bracelets came in smaller sizes. It was described as being 6 1/4 inches, but is still a little large for my 6 inch wrist, even with pressing it closed. Hope I don't ruin it by opening & closing it. 'Silver Sun' ring covers the entire distal joint and is still comfortable to wear. Can possibly be adjusted, but would be difficult. The silver in the center of the ring has a matt finish with the remaining silver having much more shine as pictured. The higher silver shine gives greater contrast to the dark grey area, giving the ring beauty not seen in the photo. Solid, strong, eye-catching design Good value. Happy with purchase.

'Thai Forest Elephant wrap ring looks better than the photo because the markings on top and bottom have a little black in between that creates texture and contrast to the silver elephant, making the elephant standout. The ring extends slightly below the knuckle and is comfortable to wear because it is lower in the back. Not a thick silver ring like other Karin Hill Tribe rings, but solid and being thinner makes it easy to adjust size and comfortable to wear. Beautiful, graceful design. Excellent value. Happy with purchase.

This is a stunning modern silver cuff of museum store quality. It has the right weight and feels lovely on the wrist. I love the oxidized design that looks like a clear cold little river indeed. This bracelet cuff goes well with classic and modern silver jewelry and will turn many eyes I imagine. I can't wait to wear it out!

Very deteailed and great workmanship. Do order a size up as suggested. Nice design with spacer so ring can adjust to custom fit but still order the size up. At first I thought the band was too thin but after wearing for a while, I realized that if it was any thicker material, it would be uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time. 'Whispering Snow', band ring has a beautiful texture that has shine, but not a mirror-like high shine. I wear the ring on my index finger because the simple design was too over powering/big for the ring finger. The edges of the ring are slightly turned away from the finger, adding finesse to a simple design. I also bought a wide bracelet from Achara with the same finish and I like the look of the bracelet and ring worn together. Can be worn with casual, dressy, tailored or decorative outfits. Well made, solid. Happy with purchase.

'Siamese Snakes' earrings are as pictured. Not a high shine finish which is how Thai Hill tribe jewelry should be, but does reflect light. It took me a while to finally decide to order these earrings because the design for these earrings was not the usual. Would they look good when actually worn? Happy surprise! Not outrageous, just have a somewhat oval shape with stamped design, medium size, feminine, pretty, fun to wear. Not flimsy, solid. Design finesse exhibited by varied thickness in earrings (less thickness at ends). I also purchased additional jewelry by Achara: bracelet, 'Fern Wrap' and ring, 'Thai Sunbeams'. I wear all 3 items together, gives a coordinated look. Wear with casual and semi-casual outfits. Happy with purchases.

Luminous Thai, cuff bracelet was more closed than shown in the photo. Probably was bent to adjust for shipping box. My wrist measures 6.25". Did not have to made an adjustment. Can be made larger to accommodate a larger wrist. The finish is as pictured. I wanted this finish so that it would match-up with other jewelry that do not have a high polish. Noticeable when worn and attractive. Happy with purchase.

I also purchased the "Hill Tribe Sun." Looks lovely on the wrist. There is one sharp area, however, on elephant that sticks out. Not worth spending money to ship back. Wish these bracelets came in smaller sizes. It was described as being 6 1/4 inches, but is still a little large for my 6 inch wrist, even with pressing it closed. Hope I don't ruin it by opening & closing it. I love elephants and this bracelet depicts them majestically.

If this isn't the most perfect knuckle ring, then I don't know what is. I can't stop looking at it. Finally a ring that covers the whole upper part of my finger without interfering with my knuckle from bending. It is NOT bulky, laying nice and flat along your finger. I ordered a size 7 to fit my middle finger, but could have gotten a size 6 so it lays exactly like the picture shows, HOWEVER, overlapping it looks just a COOL, giving it an additional design in the middle of the ring. This is by far, my favorite ring, and can see me wearing it for a long, long time because I doubt any other can top this one.. It is exactly what I have been looking for in a knuckle ring. THANK YOU to the Artist Achara for making these!!! They are made with care, simply perfection!

I have 2 bracelets by this artist and both of them need to be spread or bent to get on. I wish it would go on without having to do this since it feels like I'm bending the bracelet to get it on. The workmanship and beauty of the bracelet is top notch. I would recommend it but if you have larger wrists, then this will not fit you. I have small wrists and had to spread it to get it on. My bracelet is a bit more oxidized than the one pictured but I really like oxidized pieces.

'Elephant Roses', flower earrings have a size, shape and silver design details that come together to make for earrings that are flattering to the wearer and eye-catching. Eventhough the elephants are both facing the same direction and their is no right or left earrings, it does not matter. The earring still look beautiful. There is sharp contrast which makes the flowers and elephant stand out and adds to the ability for the earrings to catch light. Good value. Happy with purchase.
