"When I began studying for my professorship, I discovered a new world when I was introduced to the different forms of art. The teachings of art, music, and choir began pushing me, slowly, without me realizing it, toward what I do today.

"During my professional life I have asked to direct activities linked to music, theater, and the organization and realization of exhibits and events in the schools where I worked, specializing in courses within teaching, until, finally, I became a teacher of applied fine arts.

"I am a descendent of Italians from the region of Basilicata and I think that my attraction to the arts may be something genetic. To know Italy is to see up close the art that encouraged me further.

"My favorite theme, inside the contemporary figurative, is that of flowers, compositions with vases, and Greco-Roman elements, and I also explore the different types of regions of Brazil. Nature is a theme of inspiration hors concours. The presence of God is manifested throughout the beautiful forms and harmonious colors. I am guided by this presence and I find enormous pleasure in being connected with the Divine in those moments when I am painting."
