Bio

"For me, to paint is to bring forth internal changes, to transmit feeling through colors. I began coloring everything in my own house: pillows, lampshades, curtains, etc. I am passionate about silk. I chose this material because it allows me to feel more liberated in creation.

"I work mainly with color and its force. Each color has a function and stimulates different reactions in people. I have a predilection for yellow and blue. My goal is to bring harmony and positive stimulus into homes, and this, without a doubt, is an enormous source of pleasure.

"My awakening in painting occurred just after I traveled to Italy, where I was able to get to know up close the works of many artists, like MirĂ³, Salvador Dali, Gaudi, among others. Shortly thereafter I was treading the self-taught path. But it was only when I moved to a rural neighborhood removed from the center of city, that I found the adequate creative ambiance. It is in this place, close to nature, that I find tranquility in order to allow colors and emotions to flow in my paintings."
