"As if trapped in an eternal cycle, this leather sling seduces with evergreen spring flowers. Designer Vikram Uberoi of India captures Mother Nature's grace in this versatile accessory, whose detachable strap allows you to wear the piece as a clutch. Hues of dark ivy, viridian and green complete each embossed detail, while a handy zipper closure secures the suede-lined interior and its three card slots."

I love learning about different facets of Indian crafts. I love to travel and have always had a keen interest in visiting other parts of India, where ancient traditional arts are still created. I am a very imaginative person and enjoy combining different art forms in modern decor.
At first, it was difficult to communicate my ideas for integrating handcrafted textile work into my designs. I'd sit with the artisans, working side by side with them, and they gradually began to understand my concepts.
Being an avid traveler, I find inspiration in the locations and landscapes I've visited. I design from my imagination and skilled artisans interpret my work.
I design in my own workshop where a few artisans help me. However, most of the crafting is done in different parts of India and then finished in my workshop.
I use traditional materials like fine silk embellished with silk embroidery. My designs feature Kashmiri and Mughal jamawar patterns.
I've faced a lot of hardships in this process, but I want to create exclusive designs and expand my craft skills all over the world. I want to exhibit the masterful work of the artisans who collaborate with me. They not only earn money for their families but also get a chance to showcase their beautiful artwork to the world.
