This is a beautiful robe. The colors are more vibrant than the picture. It's a simple cotton fabric which is nice and comfy. good for 3 seasons. I was worried that it may be too small because it's one size and I'm a larger woman. But the design allows for easy fitting for many body shapes. I'm very happy with it.

This is a very nice cotton robe, but the one-size-fits-most is misleading. I am an average height (5'5") and weight (137), and I'm swimming in it. The artisan might consider making two sizes in the future: an S/M and an L/XL perhaps.

I received my robe today and I must say it could have been packaged better as the robe was in a box that was too small for the robe. But, the robe is awesome and perfectly folded. This robe/kimono is definitely worth the price: Beautiful/Exotic/Sexy! The material is thin but has a nice heavy weight to it. Ideal for women who wear a size M-XL. My only issue is that there are not belt loops on the robe. I will have a semstriss attach the belt for me.

I'm an XL and it's perfect but i would think for someone who is a 1x/2x it may not fully wrap so pay attention to the measurements.The robe needs belt loops which I may have added...if belt loops I would have rated 5 stars

As stated by another reviewer, I would have liked belt loops, but realize that people's waists fall at different spots. Perhaps a double belt loop? I'm VERY happy with my purchase.

I am impressed by the fine craftsmanship. The seams are expertly done with no raw edges. The weight is light but non too light. I love the fabric and the design and colors. I also liked the pants pocket design. There are no belt loops but their positioning would need to vary according to height anyway, so - I'm very pleased

I love this robe. The craftsmanship is incredible and the fabric is gorgeous, I've always loved batik and this was done well. It looks better in person than in the photo. Im 5'5 and weigh123 and it is a bit big on me but I still love it and am happy with my purchase!

My cream on black robe arrived yesterday after it's long journey. It was folded inside a cloth bag which was a piece of art in itself. The robe is absolutely stunning and fits me perfectly. I appreciate the pockets which were unexpected. The colors are vibrant and the design is beautiful. The cotton is a perfect weight and feels substantial. I hope to have this robe for a long time!

Well made, soft, and sizing is accurate. Very comfortable, and an interesting pattern. Not too warm, so it'll be great for summer or you could layer up your pajamas in the winter or if you live in a colder climate. Very fast shipping, had it in less than a week. Great for getting out of the shower. I'm 5'3 and this comes right to the floor on me. I just wish that Viktoria would offer an option with pockets and loops for the sash in another. I realize it's less traditional, but would be a practical addition and I'd gladly buy a second robe! Love this thing :)

I was looking for something light as I am moving to Maui and it is mostly warm there. The robe fits beautifully. Many robes have loops to hold the belt on. This robe does not. Maybe that is something the makers can consider for the future.

I bought two of the shorter red versions (one for me and one for my guest room) and then decided to add this longer version as a nicety for my male guests. They are lightweight and hold up very well to repeated washings. I practically lived in my red one during pandemic lock down. I highly reecommend.

I got these for myself. I'm female 5'10, so I figured these would be long enough for me as most women's casual wear is sized way too short for me. I wasn't wrong and I'm really looking forward to the summertime outfits they will make. Bought them in size small and they fit very nicely, loose and baggy and perfect for work. I got them in all three patterns. VERY HAPPY

The all cotton robe arrives a little stiff, but washes beautifully. The fabric is gorgeous, just what I hoped for. But I want to say that it's the construction that surprised me. There is not one exposed seam, nothing to eventually ravel or fray. All seams are flat fell or french seams, so professionally made! This workshop does beautiful work in construction of the garment and the stitching is expert. I was so pleased! Note that the robe has the elongated sleeves of Japanese kimono style, which I modified to be straight robe sleeves, but it was not difficult. I wear it as a bathrobe, but it is pretty enough to wear to a party!

I love this robe! The quality is top-notch. I love the weight of the robe, and it has plenty of cross-over in the front so I feel covered. It is very long (I am only 5'2"), and the belt-loops are low, like about 21" from the shoulder, so they are at the top of my thigh. I figured I would just belt it without using the loops, but I found that if I use the belt-loops, it pulls the robe up higher so it doesn't drag the floor, so I found it is actually helpful that the belt-loops are so low. So, even a short person like me can wear this, but it would also be good for a tall person, and perhaps a man could wear it. It is absolutely stunning, and the patterns is even more amazing in person. Mine has more of the white color, like the lighter ones pictured. I can't say enough about how gorgeous this is.

I've been eyeing this robe for several years, and finally treated myself. It's even more gorgeous in person. The fabric is soothing and dreamy to wear. The block print border is perfectly done. I'm 5'6" and 165lbs, and the robe fits wonderfully. Would make a great gift for anyone with high style and a discerning eye.

Beautifully made the cut and stitching so much better than anything I’ve seen for years I am good medium build and height and it’s a great size for me I was worried it would be too small but not at all The sleeves are beautiful but still practical they don’t get in the way and it STAYS WRAPPED and doesn’t gape which was always a major problem for me with other robes I thought about purchasing this for a long time as it’s more than I would normally spend but so pleased I did worth every penny thank you xx

"I'm Desak Ketut Raitawati, or 'Saktut.' I was born in Bali where my father was a farmer and my mother sold fruit in the market. I'm the youngest of children, and we lived a very simple life during my childhood.

 

"At the age of 16, I started working after school in a clothing shop to lift a bit of weight from my parents. The toughest time in my life was in my school days, when my parents could not pay my tuition. This is why I decided to get a job, and this experience really helped me throughout my life. Later, I went on to graduate from a local hospitality school.

 

"For many years, I worked in other people's clothing shops and I gained a lot of experience. I met talented tailors and batik artists and they made me see it was possible to work designing clothes on my own, although I still had doubts in myself. Through friends, I met a woman who taught me all about textiles. She has continued to support my work and also raised my confidence to start out on my own.

 

"Now I make a variety of clothing with batik designs on rayon and cotton. For the coloring, I mainly use dyes that are environmentally friendly. Our team is mostly women, whom I want to support so that they can also support their children.

 

"Friends describe me as optimistic, a fighter, and a diligent person. I am most at peace when I succeed in any of my life challenges. Even on my busiest days, I always make time for exercise as it is one of my hobbies. I am married, and we have been blessed with three boys. My feelings of motherhood are pure happiness and this motivates me to give my very best so my children can get a higher education and the best life possible.

 

"You have made it possible for me to sell my designs throughout the world without opening a shop. This makes me so proud and happy. My children will all be able to go to the university so that they will have many choices in life."
