"Our journey initially involved creating tie-dye fabrics using bleached cloth, which we then transformed into garments. However, the fabric's strength wasn't sufficient for embroidery finishing, leading us to transition into working with densely textured handwoven fabrics. Our central objective is to make Kente cloth a popular and affordable choice for everyday wear, all while contributing to youth employment.
"Introducing our organization to the community posed challenges, eventually leading us to relocate. Overcoming hurdles like high labor turnover and a scarcity of skilled labor has been a testament to our dedication. We're proud to provide allowances to our trainees, supporting their skill development and fostering their enthusiasm.
"The organization's daily operations are skillfully orchestrated by our team of weavers, who expertly prepare the warp, with trainees offering assistance. Additionally, our setup boasts ten looms, ensuring a productive environment.
"At the heart of our craft lies the traditional Kente, which shapes our artistic endeavors. Our material choices revolve around cotton and polyester fibers, readily available in our market."
