"Even as a girl, I participated in drawing and painting competitions and won quite a few of them. I love working with bright colors.
"After completing my 12th standard, I got in touch with a great artist, my guru and Novica-featured artist, Sunil Jaiswal. He has guided me and supported me, and I am so thankful to him for introducing me to Novica.
"My urge to paint was so strong that I decided to do my college via correspondence while I pursue my art full-time. I love painting so much that I can sit for hours until I feel I have achieved perfection in my work. I would often get scolded by my parents for working non-stop, but such is my passion for art. Painting gives me happiness and ultimate bliss in life. When I am painting time flies like magic. I am so glad that I knew my calling. This is where I belong. Art transports me to another world — a world of joy, peace, dreams and fantasies.
"I work mostly with oils, acrylics, charcoal, soft pastels, watercolors, and mix media, though oils, charcoal and acrylics are my favorites.
"My father is my strength and inspiration. He has guided, supported and advised me in the field of arts. What I am today is all because of him. All my success and recognition wouldn't be possible without him."
Tanisha has participated in many national and international exhibitions and her work formed part of the in World Art exhibit in Dubai, in October of 2020 where her art creations were very well received.
