This light honey colored sugar maple wood fruit and salad bowl has copper colored highlights. It has a tapered, undercut rim (to help hold the fruit and salad in) and a raised foot. This bowl is as smooth as polished stone. Sugar (or hard) maple is very dense and takes a very fine sheen. This bowl serves 3 to 5 depending on the serving size. Food safe, natural, oil finish. 11 7/8" x 4 1/4"
Hand wash with mild soap and warm water. Polish dry immediately after washing to prevent water absorption. Occasionally treat with food-safe oil to maintain wood. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. Do not use in microwave or dishwasher. Not suitable for holding liquids.
