Dinara
"I learned this craft from my mother, who, in turn, learned it from her own mother. Growing up watching my mother sew, I developed a love for needlework. I enjoyed sewing different outfits for dolls, embroidering, and crafting jewelry using various beads and materials by hand.
"During my time as a student, my mother and I visited an artisan exhibition that sparked our interest in the creative atmosphere. I suggested to my mother that we should participate in such an exhibition with our own products. We registered for the next exhibition and started brainstorming ideas for our creations. Initially, we began with bedspreads and decorative pillowcases using the patchwork technique. Over time, we expanded our range to include bags, and today we have more than 35 bag models.
"Our products feature a blend of traditional and modern Uzbek fabrics, including Adras, Atlas, Bekasam, and others. We also incorporate old and contemporary suzanis (embroidered fabrics). Our designs combine hand stitching, patchwork elements, and national fabrics with a modern touch. Our hand stitching is a distinctive feature that sets us apart. The unique palette of Uzbek fabrics serves as a constant inspiration for me to create new products. Customers appreciate our non-traditional approach to incorporating traditional fabrics into modern designs, whether it's clothing or accessories."
